The Trawler 1800 is a beautifully lined steel multi chine motor yacht with a length of 18 meters, a beam of 4.85 meters and a draft of 1.40 meters.
The yacht has a flared bow, high gunwale, covered gangways and a flying bridge. Due to a low air draft of 3.45 meters, the yacht is extremely well suited for navigating the French canals. The interior is entirely custom built and the customer also has every opportunity to specify the layout.
The large living area is entered via the opening doors on the aft deck. A large couch is situated at the rear of the salon with the galley and dinette in the centre and the steering position at the front. The galley is fitted with a dishwasher, combination microwave, refrigerator, sink and a 4-hob cooker. Next to the steering position; equipped with a complete set of Simrad navigation instruments; are doors to both the port and starboard gangways. There is a perfect view of the outside from the salon and the dinette.
A guest cabin with a double bed, a guest cabin with bunk beds and a toilet room is located forward. The owner’s cabin, with a large double bed, and the shower is situated under the level of galley and dinette area.
The Trawler is fitted with a Vetus Deutz DT67 286hp engine.
The engine room is very spacious and easily accessible, and has additional space at the rear for the Victron apparatus and storage. The engine room is readily accessible through the hatch in the aft deck and a door in the owner’s cabin.
Space in the engine room is also given over to a 14KvA generator and the hydraulic installation for operating the bow and stern thrusters, the anchor windlass, the radar mast, the stern stairway and the stabilisers. Like the main engine, the generator is also fitted with a hydraulic pump. The hydraulic stabilisers ensure that the yacht is kept stable during heavy weather and at sea. The engine room is very well isolated, which adds to the tranquil atmosphere when underway.
The yacht is built to CE design category A.
